Our Story<\/h1>\n

Dino Parc R\u00e2\u0219nov was opened in 2015 and is the largest dinosaur park in South-Eastern Europe, but also an open-air museum, unique in Romania.<\/p>\n

Located on Cet\u0103\u021bii Street, near R\u00e2\u0219nov Fortress, the park has an area of 4 hectares and hosts over 120 scientifically certified dinosaurs, life-size reproduced according to the latest paleontological discoveries.<\/p>\n

In addition to the impressive route with dinosaurs, the park also has playgrounds for children, tree houses with science exhibitions, an open air cinema, adventure trails, zip line, laser maze, soundbox, unique exhibitions and more interactive areas. New scientific national and international exhibitions are constantly being brought.<\/p>\n

At Dino Parc R\u00e2\u0219nov is exhibited the reproduction of the largest flying animal in the world, Hatzegopteryx thambema, which could go around the earth in flight without stopping, but also a real meteorite, extremely rare, discovered in Romania. Here you will also find Seismosaurus, the huge sauropod 45 meters long, which used to create a small earthquake at every step.<\/p>\n

In the park is an interactive volcano that simulates an eruption and a moving platform that simulates three types of earthquakes: one caused by the movement of tectonic plates, one caused by a herd of running Seismosaurus and an earthquake caused by a volcanic eruption.<\/p>\n

You will also discover animatronic dinosaurs that make terrifying sounds, an interactive window with augmented reality and many other interactive areas, both for children and adults.<\/p>\n

Dino Parc R\u00e2\u0219nov is a partner and supporter of the paleontological community in Romania, many of the exhibitions in the park being made in partnership with the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History, University of Bucharest, Romanian Geological Institute, Szekler National Museum, Bra\u0219ov County History Museum and international private partners.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
